SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT
The Sustainability Summit presented by the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities at Furman University partnered with Piedmont Natural Gas was held Friday, June 9, 2023.
The BMW Charity Pro-Am partnered with Sustain SC to host a one day event that brought community business partners together to discuss sustainability within business and events. The break out sessions included:
- Sustainability Reporting
- Scope 3 Emissions and the Supply Chain
- Innovation in Sustainability
- Sustainability Experts
Keynote Panel Speakers Dr. Robert Engelhorn, President and CEO of BMW Manufacturing and Halsey M. Cook Jr. President and CEO of Milliken and Company, and Dr. Elizabeth Davis, President of, Furman University
Proceeds from this event benefit SustainSC and their efforts to make the Upstate a more sustainable community.
