WELCOME TO BMW GROUP PLANT DINGOLFING.
BMW Group Plant Dingolfing is the BMW Group’s largest vehicle production site in Europe: Last year, around 245.000 BMW vehicles rolled off the assembly lines. The site manufactures a wide range of cars – currently models of the 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Series, as well as the new all-electric BMW iX. Components for BMW’s electric vehicles and car bodies for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars are also manufactured here. On top of that, Dingolfing is at the center of the BMW Group’s global spare parts logistics network. In total, the location has a workforce of approx. 17,000 people, plus 850 apprentices.
ON THE WAY TO THE FUTURE.
Electromobility, digitalization and automated driving are more than just buzzwords at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing. The plant is paving the way for the mobility of tomorrow: Since July 2021, these key automotive technologies have come together in the BMW iX. Conceived from the outset for purely electric mobility, this model is based on a new toolkit for the future, whose vast potential for innovations in the areas of automated driving, operation, connectivity and digital services translates into a premium mobility experience unparalleled in this segment. This means that the Plant in Dingolfing is already a showcase for automotive topics of the future.
