The BMW Group plant in Manaus (AM) is the only factory outside Germany fully dedicated to motorcycle production. Founded in 2016 and operating within the Free Trade Zone, it now manufactures 99% of the BMW Motorrad portfolio in Brazil.
Covering approximately 15,000 square meters, the plant consists of three buildings, enabling an annual production capacity of up to 17,000 motorcycles.
The factory is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, utilizing renewable energy sources to reduce CO² emissions. It holds the I-REC (International REC Standard) certification, ensuring that all consumed energy comes from clean, renewable sources.
Since 2018, the factory's energy consumption has been proportionally offset through generation at the Morrinhos Wind Energy Complex, located in Campo Formoso (BA).
Currently, the Manaus plant produces the following models: C 400 X, R 1300 GS Adventure, R 1300 GS, S 1000 RR, G 310 GS, G 310 R, F 800 GS, F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure, F 900 R, and R12.
