REQUIRED INTERNSHIP FOR SCHOOL PUPILS.

Different jobs and areas of work are waiting to be discovered – giving you chance to build on what you have learned in a work setting. In line with your school’s curriculum, you will get a taste of working in commercial or technical divisions, or in company catering, during the summer months (June to September).

Designed for: Pupils (secondary technical school (HTL) or technical school) who need to complete a required internship as part of their curriculum.


Minimum age: 16 (at start of internship).

The application deadline for summer 2024 has already passed. Applications for summer 2025 can be submitted from autumn 2024.

Designed for: Pupils (HAK, HLW) who need to complete a required internship as part of their curriculum.

Minimum age: 16 (at start of internship).

Designed for: Pupils (at a higher vocational college specialising in gastronomy, tourism or home economics, or at technical schools) who need to complete a required internship as part of their curriculum.

HELP WITH YOUR HTL (SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL) DISSERTATION.

Work experience brings benefits.

We will provide appropriate technical support while you write your secondary technical school (HTL) dissertation with us during the summer months (June to September), based on the practical experience you have gained with our company.

The application phase for all secondary technical school (HTL) dissertations begins in early October, several months before the start date.

Designed for: Pupils at a secondary technical school (HTL) who need to write a dissertation as part of their curriculum.

Minimum age: 16.

Insight provides perspective.

What does a BMW Group plant look like from the inside? During the summer months (June to September), you can take a look behind the scenes at one of Austria’s largest industrial companies. A holiday job provides valuable insights into processes and operations at the BMW Group’s largest engine plant and diesel engine competence centre.

Summer jobs (production).

Summer jobs entail challenging and interesting activities on the assembly and production lines or in logistics. In this way, you are directly involved in building the “heart” of BMW and MINI cars.

Summer jobs (non-production).

If you are looking to build on what you have learned at school with practical experience in non-production areas, we also offer summer jobs in commercial and technical areas.
