The Inaugural Carolina Cup will be played at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, SC over the dates October 7-11.
The event features 15 NCAA Division 1 colleges including
- University of South Carolina Upstate
- Wofford College
- University of Central Florida
- Lipscomb University
- High Point University
- Jacksonville University
- Charleston Southern University
- Winthrop University
- University of Alabama Birmingham
- Western Carolina University
- University of Connecticut
- Kennesaw State University
- Mercer University
- Howard University
- Creighton University
All teams will be playing 18 holes of stroke play on each day October 9-11.
A College-Am event will precede the main college tournament on Saturday October 8 with 30 teams of one NCAA Division 1 player and four amateur golfers representing sponsor teams over 18 holes. This event will conclude with a Prizegiving Dinner with several sponsor packages that include additional guests.
The Carolina Cup will assist in driving funds donated to a select group of charities nominated by Spartanburg Charities Inc.
The 2022 Carolina Cup will be covered by GameKast TV and can be streamed direct to individuals or companies.
