Plant Leipzig has long been a major sponsor of the international a cappella festival of vocal music and is once again setting the festival in motion: Plant Director Hans-Peter Kemser has presented a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer made in Leipzig to festival patrons, the amarcord vocal ensemble. As always, the vehicle will bear the striking livery of the current festival.

“This car makes us highly visible in Leipzig and beyond, so it is an excellent ambassador before, during and after the festival for a cappella music, the city of Leipzig and our partner BMW,” said festival organiser Maud Glauche as the vehicle was handed over.

Plant Director Hans-Peter Kemser also emphasised the quality of the plant’s long-standing partnership with amarcord and the a cappella festival: “We are proud to be part of a partnership of shared values – of nurturing young people and talent, the courage to run with new ideas but also having an open mind. That’s why we decided to continue our cooperation with the a cappella again with a new contract.”

The 18th a cappella vocal music festival will take visitors on a ten-day journey through one thousand years of music history, captivating audiences with the diversity and quality of its musical offerings.
