In the summer of 2019, the BMW Group’s Munich plant donated the last fifth-generation BMW 3 Series Touring to the Munich food bank Tafel e.V. At the non-profit’s 25th anniversary celebration Robert Engelhorn, director of BMW Group Plant Munich, presented the car to the Tafel’s board.

As a traditional Bavarian company situated in the heart of the city of Munich, the work of the food bank is very important to us. I am delighted that some of our BMW Group staff volunteer as drivers for the Tafel several times a week. With the donation of our last BMW 3 Series Touring of this generation, we at BMW Group Plant Munich want to support the work of the Munich food bank.
