GIRLS’ DAY AT BMW GROUP PLANT MUNICH.

Girls’ Day is an annual nationwide campaign day on which companies like ours open their doors to girls and young women age 14 to 19, to give them an idea of some of the vocational training jobs available. After a brief introduction to vocational training at the BMW Group, the girls experience various technical jobs related to automotive production. From lab technology jobs to body construction and final assembly, they get to enjoy a sneak peek, ask questions and even try their hand if they want to. Experts and trainers are available at various points and happy to assist and answer questions.

Girls’ Day is designed to encourage girls to enter professions in science and technology and get more women into typical “men’s jobs”. Tech is for women too – and our female trainees prove it on a daily basis!
